Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana will unveil its first trailer at San Diego Comic-Con on 23 July, which lands on the morning of 24 July in India. Producer Namit Malhotra, the director and the principal cast are scheduled to present the panel in Ballroom 20, the convention's largest hall after Hall H.
The choice is a deliberate strategic shift. Prime Focus Studios has moved from a domestic-first rollout to an international launch, positioning the film as a global event before it is positioned as a Diwali release. Very few Indian films have taken a Comic-Con platform of this size.
The scale of the production has been the subject of trade discussion for two years, with reported costs approaching 900 crore across both parts and a score credited jointly to A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer. Ranbir Kapoor plays Ram, Yash plays Ravana and Sai Pallavi plays Sita.
Part One is dated for Diwali, 6 November 2026. The trailer's reception next week will be the first real market signal for the biggest bet on the Indian slate.
