Netflix Reportedly Books Dhamaal 4 for a September Drop
The streamer picks up post-theatrical rights as the comedy's theatrical run holds its ground.

Trade reports say Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights to Dhamaal 4, with a drop expected in the first week of September, roughly eight weeks after its theatrical release.
The eight-week window has become the working standard for mid-budget Hindi comedies. Anything shorter tends to cost the theatrical tail; anything longer risks piracy eating the streaming value. For a film that has now crossed 100 crore in theatres, the streaming and satellite package is what converts a good theatrical run into a comfortably profitable one.
Neither the studio nor the streamer has issued a formal confirmation, and the figure attached to the deal has not been disclosed.
