Ajay Devgn Quietly Owns July, and the Dhamaal Franchise Has Its Biggest Film Yet
Dhamaal 4 closed its third week at 155.85 crore net, the highest total in the series' eighteen-year history.
Bolly BourseDhamaal 4 has finished twenty-one days on 155.85 crore net in India and 215.29 crore worldwide, against a 150 crore budget. It ends July as the highest-earning Hindi release of the month and the biggest film the franchise has produced since it began in 2007.
What stands out is the shape of the run rather than its peak. It crossed 100 crore net on day eight, then held through The Odyssey taking the premium screens and Jana Nayagan's opening weekend, dropping only marginally against either.
For Devgn, it continues an unusually durable stretch of commercial reliability in a period when few Hindi stars are opening films at this level consistently.
