Vijay Salgaonkar returns on 2 October

Drishyam 3 lists on 2 October, taking the Gandhi Jayanti weekend ahead of the Diwali rush.

The cast wrapped filming in late January. An official teaser is still awaited, which by the franchise's own history is normal: both previous films ran short, tightly controlled campaigns that refused to give away plot.

The franchise has never opened enormous and has always finished large. Drishyam 2 took ₹240.5 crore net in India on that pattern.
