National chains alone moved 1.4 lakh tickets before the first show, putting the film on course for a 20 crore gross opening day. IMAX screens in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru sold out the entire weekend by Wednesday night.
For exhibitors, this is the strongest Hollywood pre-sale since Oppenheimer.
